Two Coats And Matching Boots. Almost.

Because I’ve written quite a bit about the bitter cold this winter and our greyhound Gracie’s total dislike of said weather, I thought this photo of the two of us dressed to endure a Shackleton-like expedition might elicit a chuckle or two. We both have two coats on.
(A St. Bernard – with a handy flask of brandy hanging from his collar – is waiting outside, just in case.)

Even though I just returned from a white and silvery gray/blue cross-country ski…. beautiful…loving the snow (sorry) when I saw N’s photos, the color of the water, matched by the color of the gently held fish(what an honor to hold such a creature) I yearned for that air, sand, color.

Then to the photo of You and Gracy, I roared you are a pair….long and lean and out of your elements…the island can come none to soon for the two of you.

    But its awfully far….
